Why do so many former Latter-day Saints continue talking about Mormonism after they've left?One of the most common criticisms directed at this channel is the familiar phrase: **"You can leave the Church, but you can't leave it alone."** In this video, I explain why I believe that criticism misses the point entirely.We begin by looking at the earliest origins of Mormonism—not with the familiar Sacred Grove story, but with Joseph Smith's involvement in treasure-seeking and the use of seer stones. From there, I examine how the Church's central promises have evolved and why I see important parallels between early treasure-digging claims and modern promises of eternal rewards.I also explain why I believe extraordinary religious claims deserve careful examination, why faith alone is not sufficient evidence for me, and why I continue making videos after producing more than **3,000** of them.This is not an attack on individual Latter-day Saints.
