June was Pride Month which celebrates and supports the LGBTQ+ community. July was South Asiain Heritage month, which celebrates south asian art, food, music and culture.
Its good that we have these moments in the calendar, but we have to remember why events such as these, and others, exist in the first place, and the importance of supporting these communities.
