This week I talked to a Marine who assisted with the evacuation of Kabul nearly one year ago. He spoke about his quick turn around from leaving the Marine Corps School of Infantry to being in Iraq within a few short weeks. Additionally, we spoke about:

- His time on post at Abby Gate

- International cooperation during the evacuation 

- Local Afghan civilian reaction and treatment 

- And the most interesting two weeks of his life
