America recently celebrated its 250th anniversary last July. As America hits this milestone, we look back at the events which made America what it is now. Particularly, the American Revolution. Arguably the most defining moment in American history.
In Part 1 of this series, Founder, CEO and Editor-In-Chief at Fair Observer Atul Singh joined Senior Partner FOI Glenn Carle, a retired CIA officer descended from the first immigrants who arrived on the Mayflower, to look back on this pivotal moment in history. Particularly, they looked at the revolution itself and the early 1770s.
However, some questions still remain. How did the then tiny and divided 13 colonies overpower the (at the time) world’s greatest empire? How were they able to sustain themselves? What are the parts about the war that everyone seems to ignore?
In this episode, Atul and Glenn discuss more of the war itself. They point out that the war made America what it is today. There is no talking about American history without talking about the American Revolution. The conversation delves into the war’s overlooked truths, how America persevered to win the war, and what it meant for the nation’s future.
