Gone Bush is a legitimate phrase (and complete sentence) in Aotearoa New Zealand. 

The In Our Nature podcast will be back for another season in 2026. If you want the usual extra, winding context about this choice and what it means for my personal development as a working person under the narratives of productivity so cherished by the dominant culture, the impact on my membership of the web of life, and how this affects my philosophical understanding of the times of unravelling we live amongst.....then please do tune in.
