This episode is a little different. 🤎

You're listening in on a phone call between Maia and her dear friend, Lauren Snyder - a woman with such a vibrant faith and someone who continually points others back to Jesus. What started as a simple conversation quickly became one we knew we wanted to share with you.

Together, we talk about what it looks like to be weak... to not have the right words, not have it all together, and not know what to pray. Through Romans 8:26–28 and 2 Corinthians 12:9, we unpack the beauty of bringing our weakness to God instead of trying to tie a bow on every situation. Sometimes, in our desire to "be okay," we miss the sweetness of simply being God's daughters - fully known, fully loved, and welcomed into His presence exactly as we are.

Maia also shares how walking through miscarriage reshaped the way she approaches weakness and her relationship with the Lord, while Lauren vulnerably shares how her journey with brain tumors has continually taught her to depend on God's strength instead of her own. Though their stories are different, both point to the same truth: God's grace truly is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

We also talk about the importance of bringing trusted people into our weakness. As Christians, we're not called to hide our struggles but to let others walk alongside us. When we bring things into the light, we experience greater freedom, encouragement, and a tangible reminder that we were never meant to do this life alone.

If you're in a season where you feel weary, uncertain, or like you have to hold everything together, we pray this honest conversation reminds you that you don't have to. God meets us in our weakness, and often, He does so through the people He's placed around us. *and maybe He will let you blow your nose in His shirt LOL
