‘The Dog Stars,’ ‘Coyote vs. Acme,’ ‘Onslaught’ & ‘Hope’ + What We've Been Watching

Trey catches Kelsi up on four major recent releases: Ridley Scott’s ‘The Dog Stars’ starring Jacob Elordi, ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ with Will Forte and John Cena, Adam Wingard’s ‘Onslaught’ starring Adria Arjona and Drew Starkey, and Na Hong-jin’s massive Korean sci-fi epic ‘Hope.’ We get into why ‘The Dog Stars’ disappointed despite our love for Ridley Scott, whether ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ lives up to the story surrounding its release, the tonal chaos of ‘Onslaught,’ and why ‘Hope’ might be the strangest and most ambitious of the bunch. Plus, a quick September update and a preview of our ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Patreon deep dive!
