Paddy, Ian and special guest Ed look at the first of Mr Treznor's albums. The origional long play HALO, Pretty Hate Machine demonstrated the start of a journey for a unique individual and by extension band that would weave itself to various places, some quite dark over the years. This album however whilst being filled with the strong emotions of a young studio musician shows some serious song writing chops!
