The main image used for this episode is of Ingrid Olderock, a Chilean-German agent known as "The Dog Lady"., or "Woman of the Dogs," who trained dogs to sexually attack prisoners. This is something Meghan McCain claimed is impossible; "You cannot train a dog to do anything like that," she said.
Why the denial? Why the lack of research on her part? Well, because she is a right-wing ideologue, first of all, and that ALWAYS requires omitting key facts from one's general worldview. But here are the facts regarding the disturbing practice of using dogs as instruments of state-sanctioned torture, and why we should not doubt such crimes are possible, even from countries we are supposedly "allies" with, or even from ourselves.
