Is the Kingdom of God something we’re still waiting for, or is Jesus actually reigning as King right now? Not as the consummated King, before whom every knee will bow, but as the King who has authority over this world. Jesus is King and that fact should change the way Christians live, work, create, and engage in this world right here, right now.
This week, Zach Dasher, co-host of the Unashamed podcast and host of Not Yet Now, joins us to explore the central theme of Jesus’ teaching: the Kingdom of God.
We unpack the “already, not yet” Kingdom, the biblical theme of God’s presence from Eden to Christ, and what it means for Christians to live as the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. We also explore how Christ’s reign eliminates the sacred-secular divide and gives meaning to our work, creativity, culture, and everyday lives.
Finally, we wrestle with the dangers of pushing the Kingdom entirely into the future, or trying to fully realize it now, and ask what it really means to live today as though Jesus is King.

Zach Dasher is a Christian entrepreneur, media producer, and podcaster focused on faith, culture, and storytelling. He is a co-host and producer of Unashamed with the Robertson Family and host of the Not Yet Now podcast.
