“I’m living my dream.”
That’s what Dr. Tekeisha Zimmerman told me before we recorded this episode. Just months earlier, she had left a 20-year corporate career with big ambitions and one question: How do I connect everything I do so people understand what makes me different?
That’s the work we did together in Visible Brand Authority, my one-on-one VIP personal branding program for accomplished women ready to become known for their expertise and pursue bigger opportunities. You’ll hear how we clarified her personal brand, strengthened her message, and helped her put her expertise forward to pursue her dreams of speaking and growing her new business.
Today, she’s attracting speaking invitations and clients, preparing for her first international keynote, and pursuing a TEDx stage she once hesitated to apply for.
What changed? Tekeisha takes us inside the experience, including the moment things clicked and the moves she made next.
In this episode:
- Why an accomplished career can still leave you struggling to explain your value
- What helped Tekeisha connect the different sides of her work
- How clarity changed her confidence and the opportunities she pursued
- What happened when she invested in herself and put herself out there
- Why her story may change how you see what’s possible for you
If you’ve been wondering what you could do with your experience beyond where you are today, listen to Tekeisha’s story. You may recognize yourself in where she started.
