Man on street videos that highlight the lack of knowledge of the average Americans are funny and entertaining, but it's really no laughing matter. The further we get from the date of our founding, the further we get away from the very principles that were cited as the reasons for declaring independence. Almost no American walking around in public can answer basic questions about our most important holiday, other than Christmas. Will this ignorance secure the blessing of liberty in American as we continue into the future? Not likely!
