The Backrooms movie is a psychological sci-fi horror film centered on a failed architect and furniture store owner named Clark (Chiwetel Ejiofor) who discovers a mysterious portal in his shop's basement. This portal leads to "The Backrooms"—a seemingly endless, maze-like dimension of yellow-wallpapered rooms, humming fluorescent lights, and disjointed liminal spaces.
