In 1884, the Ringling Brothers began their circus empire in the small city of Baraboo, Wisconsin. What started as a modest traveling show would eventually become one of the most famous circuses in the world, turning this quiet Midwestern town into the unlikely capital of the American circus. Now, more than a century later many of its locations are considered by locals to be haunted. From the Old Baraboo inn to the Al Ringling Theater as well as countless residences, the people who once called this place home, are now believed to haunt it.
