Mladá Boleslav, 2 September 2026 – It all began with an idea from two Škoda employees, Marek Jež and Jakub Krs: How far could the new electric seven-seater Škoda Peaq travel on a single charge of its 91 kWh battery? To find out, they set off from Mladá Boleslav for the Netherlands. The series-production Škoda Peaq covered 936 kilometres without recharging. The record attempt was conducted under the supervision of certification authority TÜV SÜD.
