Tania holds a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in history from UCLA, and she teaches and mentors emerging journalists and incarcerated writers. She is currently working on a hybrid memoir, about survival, shame, family, desire, journalism, and what it means to finally turn the lens on herself.
