Alright, we admit it—we might be cheating on our own rules just a little bit! Non-Horror July continues, and while this week's movie features zombies, reanimation labs, and melting flesh, we promise you it is mostly a bullet-riddled '80s action-comedy. The plot follows two wisecracking LAPD detectives who uncover a pharmaceutical conspiracy where criminals are being brought back from the dead to commit robberies. The catch? One of our heroes gets murdered early on and has exactly 12 hours to solve his own death before his body completely falls apart. To help us navigate this glorious blend of gunfights, practical gore, and relentless one-liners, we are joined by a very special guest: horror author Z.C. Krol!
