In February 2005, pregnant Fort Worth business owner Lisa Underwood and her 7-year-old son, Jayden, disappeared after failing to arrive at Lisa’s baby shower. Inside their home, investigators found blood and signs that someone had tried to clean the scene, while Lisa’s SUV was missing. Hours after Lisa was last known to be home, a deputy encountered a wet, mud-covered man walking along an interstate service road who gave a false name and suddenly ran into the woods. As police began looking closely at the people in Lisa’s life, that strange encounter would become increasingly difficult to ignore. Allison walks us through the investigation and the relationships surrounding Lisa that gave detectives a much clearer picture of what may have happened inside her home.
