Episode Description:  

In this episode Mx Dizzy and Marquis Pup Rekkr talk with Meredith, known as EtoileDC in virtual spaces, a deaf human and a kink and sexuality educator based in Washington DC, who has been teaching since 2016 and has presented across the United States. Despite the difficulties, obvious and not so obvious, of interviewing a deaf person virtually for an audio-only podcast, Meredith was more than willing to take on the task with us. We worked together to figure out how to accommodate her specific needs and to conduct an interview which rivals the quality of all of our others. 

We discuss how being deaf is seen in the kink community and navigating various spaces as a deaf person as well as how kink spaces can be more accommodating for deaf and hard of hearing people.
