In this episode Heidi Arsenault and Daniel Wilson discuss ARIA, their clinical practice through music and play with nonspeaking children and teens from around the world in Montreal, as a way of exploring a concept of the child that takes subjective experience and its search for an unprecedented space-time into account. The notion of creativity is considered from the perspective of a subjective experience that seeks expression and can be accompanied and sustained rather than limited or interpreted by others, in this case the adults around the child. The concepts of child and creativity are discussed in today's context of mundialization, AI, and medical focus on the child's symptoms through diagnoses, psychotropic, and behavioral treatments.
