Redwings isn't just a horse sanctuary, we are one of the UK's largest horse welfare charities! Part of our dedication to horse welfare is our welfare line, a dedicated phone number for reporting concerns about horses and donkeys or seeking guidance.

Today we sat down with Lucy and Beth who answer the calls made to our welfare line. Tune in to hear the concerns we are hearing about in 2026, what information we need for a welfare report, and about some of the horses Beth and Lucy have watched go from a welfare call to healthy, happy horses!

Are you worried about a horse or donkey in your area? Please call 01508 481008 or email welfare@redwings.co.uk.

Thank you for listening!
