My guest who was born and raised in Finland touches upon many different topics in this episode of My Danish Experience podcast.

What can you learn from Danish movies?

What do Danish parties look like from the outside?

The inevitable question: how do you get Danish friends while keeping an international core within yourself? This, and that it’s okay to be different and that you can be Danish your own way is also put into perspective.

My guest is also talking about another language that helped her learn Danish as well as giving her views on Danish culture, including Janteloven.

My guest and I speak in Danish but I recommend that although you might not understand all of it that you still listen and learn what you can from it as well and hopefully also get a feeling of connectedness and inspiration for your own life here in Denmark.

The sound in this episode could’ve been better, especially when I speak but fortunately, my guest has a lot to say and this means that you won’t hear my voice that much.

If you would like to participate in My Danish Experience Podcast, please write to [email protected] - this is also the email that you can use if you’re interested in a Danish course with me/Danish Matters.

Your story doesn't have to be out of the ordinary - no need to have acquaintances at the royal court, hold a high position (in fact, you can be unemployed), or be an ideal Danish learner. You don't have to like leverpostej either 😉
