I talked with seminary professor Dr. Brian Huffling about the nature of God. This is the best argument I've heard for why God cannot change or progress, and I hope it convinces you, too. This is the attribute of God called "Immutability." We also discuss what it means that God is separate from us, combating the New Age/New Thought belief of Oneness or Non-Duality. Not only does your belief about whether God changes have theological consequences, but it also has moral ones. A God who changes can't be God OR good.
