Happy 30th anniversary, Blue's Clues! On this episode of Splat Attack, Alex, Manny, and Heather dig into the full history of the beloved Nick Jr. series, from its "Blueprints" pilot and Angela Santomero's Mr. Rogers inspired vision, through Steve, Joe, and Josh, all the way to Blue's Clues & You winning a 2025 Emmy. We cover the celebrity cameo list, the merchandising boom, the ASL connection with Marley Matlin, and a genuine fan mystery around the "Blue Skidoo" catchphrase that nobody can quite verify.
Then stick around for our closing segment, Tuned 'N, where we each pick the song that reminds us most of Blue's Clues.
A huge thanks to Chris for the Blue's Clues inspired theme song for this episode. Go check him out and his other amazing works: https://cmstrikeaudio.com/
