The Bulls are more athletic, more balanced and far more intriguing than last season’s 31-51 team, but the Eastern Conference has become a battlefield. The defending champion New York Knicks remain loaded, Miami added Giannis Antetokounmpo, Philadelphia acquired Jaylen Brown, Detroit improved its shooting, Atlanta added Lu Dort and Aaron Wiggins, and Indiana expects Tyrese Haliburton back.
Where does that leave Chicago: a legitimate 40-win play-in threat or another development team stuck near the bottom?
