When we've walked through addiction, betrayal, trauma, or deep relational wounds, it's easy to let those experiences become part of our identity. We can begin to see ourselves through the lens of what we've done, what's been done to us, or what we've spent years trying to overcome.

But what if God promises more for you than recovery?

In this episode, we're sharing the heart behind why we named our ministry Restored 2 More and unpacking the powerful story in Acts 3 of a man who had spent his life sitting outside the temple gates, unable to walk. When he encountered the healing power of Jesus, he didn't return to the gate. He got up, walked, leaped, and praised God!

What a beautiful picture of restoration, and it asks three simple questions:

  • Do you believe God can heal you?
  • Do you actually want to be healed?
  • And when healing comes, are you living in your new identity or shamed into your old one?

Because God doesn't just want to heal you from something. He wants to restore you to something.

There is still joy to experience, purpose to discover, relationships to deepen, and a calling to walk in. God can use the very places you've experienced pain to become places where others encounter hope.
