The Island of Dolls exists in a remote region of the Mexican swamps where the caretaker, whilst trying to live a life of seclusion, finds the body of a little girl who drowned. Not long after, a doll would appear by her watery grave and the caretaker hangs the doll (along with many others) to appease the spirit of the girl who drowned.
Is this tragedy real? Or is this the hallucination of a lonely hermit?
