In today's episode, you are going to learn about Slovak coordinating compound sentences. You will also learn how to ask “Are you coming or not?” and how to say “So let it happen” in Slovak.

Priraďovacie súvetie (Coordinating compound sentence)
1. Otec číta noviny a mama varí večeru. (Father is reading the newspaper, and mother is cooking dinner.)
2. Nepršalo ani vietor nefúkal. (It wasn’t raining nor the wind was blowing.)
3. Maria nielen hrá na klavír, ale aj spieva. (Maria not only plays the piano but also sings.)
4. Úloha bola ťažká, avšak zvládli sme ju. (The task was difficult, but we managed it.)
5. Chcel ísť von, ale musel študovať. (He wanted to go outside, but he had to study.)
6. Buď pôjdeme autobusom, alebo nejdeme nikam. (We either take the bus or we don’t go anywhere.)
7. Idem na večierok, veď tam bude zábava. (I’m going to a party, it will be fun there.)
8. Bol unavený, a preto išiel spať. (He was tired, so he went to sleep.)
9. Prídete, či neprídete? (Are you coming or not?)
10. Tak nech sa stane (So let it happen)
