This week we discuss another breakout hit for A24, Uncut Gems. We talk about the long road to this film getting made from listening to their fathers "hustling in the diamond district" stories to the ten year process of actually getting the film made. After discussing the background and production of the film, we get into the film itself and discuss why it is so affective. After discussing the plot of the film, we each pair the film with another for a pair of double bills!
