We wake to the eerie, beautiful call of cranes just beyond the boat — a rare sight in the UK and something that still stops us in our tracks. From misty mornings and ancient landscapes to swallows returning and a surprise bittern sighting, it’s been a proper nature-filled week.
But it’s not just about wildlife. We talk about the quiet kindness of people — strangers stepping in to help when it really matters — and how those small acts spread further than you think.
There’s also a heartfelt chat about a book that genuinely moved us (Tuesdays with Morrie) and why it might just change the way you look at life and relationships.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be one of our podcasts without a bit of a moan… this week it’s a big one.
We finish on lighter things — spring weather (briefly!), Archie living his best life, and somehow… cheese dreams.
If you enjoy these chats, please do follow/subscribe wherever you’re listening — it really helps us along.
