In the coming episodes, you’ll hear highlights from the Oorzaken Festival 2025. On December 12 and 13, audio lovers came together for the best masterclasses, panels, installations, performances, and audio works of the moment.
In this episode you will hear a conversation about the series Het Beloofde Bos (NPO Luister, NTR) by Mandula van den Berg and Rachel Corner. In the series these makers trace a tree planted in 1944 by Rachel’s father in Palestina. Through documentary photos and audio fragments, they uncover hidden histories of displacement, memory, and conflict. Moderation: Yinske Silva.
