Most previous patient-reported outcome results for CAR T-cell therapy have come from clinical trials testing these treatments, but information on how patients experience this treatment in real-world settings is scarce.

Dr Fabio Efficace and Dr Alice Di Rocco discuss their recent prospective study to measure real-world patient-reported symtomatic adverse events in those receiving CAR T-cell therapy for aggressive B-cell lymphomas, and how these outcomes match those reported by the physicans treating the patients. They discuss some of the rich and varied findings that they uncovered from their study.
