A large-scale study tracking over sixteen hundred pregnant women in Iran reveals a concerning dose-response relationship between cell phone use and pregnancy outcomes.

In this episode, I break down new research published in BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth that measured electromagnetic exposure from cell phones, cordless phones, and Wi-Fi devices throughout pregnancy. The findings show that every additional minute of daily cell phone use increased miscarriage risk by point six percent -- and the effects extended beyond pregnancy loss to include abnormal birth weight and infant height.

In This Episode

  • The specific dose-response relationship between cell phone call duration and miscarriage risk
  • Why cordless phones and Wi-Fi also showed measurable effects on birth outcomes
  • One simple step pregnant women can take today to reduce exposure
