On this week’s episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz discuss the horrible murder of Fern Feather, a transgender woman out of Morristown, Vermont. At the beginning of April of 2022, Fern stopped to help a hitchhiker named Seth Brunell. The two were fast friends and spent some time together before Seth brutally stabbed Fern to death on April 12th, 2022. Seth would end up going to trial for her murder but would plea guilty to voluntary manslaughter and serve an extremely unfair sentence for the volume of his crimes.
