In this episode, Ryan invites Jess Melendez to explore Wes Craven's two central franchises, SCREAM and A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, through the theme of family. Craven explores the concept of family, hidden secrets, and parent/child relationships in different ways over both franchises. Ryan also reveals the screentimes for Heather Langenkamp over her three films as Nancy and compares the data to the SCREAM screentimes. To close out the horror talk, Ryan and Jess rank the A Nightmare on Elm Street series. Then, Ashley joins Ryan for the very appropriate Taylor Swift song of the week, "Wildest Dreams," from 1989.
