Episode #162 of Daffy’s Round Table!
On this episode, I’m joined by Mike Schade from Port Credit Pets to talk about the upcoming Ottawa Reptile Expo, happening October 24th and 25th, 2026!
With the expo just around the corner, we figured it would be a great time to sit down and talk about what people can expect from the show, the different reptiles and supplies they'll be able to find, and why reptile expos are such an important part of the hobby.
We get into what Port Credit Pets is all about, Mike's experience in the reptile industry, what goes into preparing for a big expo, and what it's like being on the vendor side of these events.
We also talk about the Ottawa Reptile Expo itself, the variety of breeders and vendors attending, what makes these shows so much fun, and why they're such a great opportunity to meet other keepers, discover new species, and learn directly from people working with these animals.
Whether you're an experienced reptile keeper looking for something new, just getting started in the hobby, or simply curious about reptiles, there's going to be plenty to see at the show!
If you're in Ottawa or the surrounding area, make sure to come check out the Ottawa Reptile Expo and stop by to say hi!
