Now aged 56 and celebrating seven years of sobriety, Biden has recently become a social media sensation, taking to X with a renewed sense of purpose.

While some are speculating that he’s lining up a political run of his own, others are preaching caution that he may look to cynically monetise his newfound audience.

The controversial son of former US president Joe Biden has spent most of the last few weeks conversing with those who wish him well and those who continue to hurl abuse his way. He even popped up on conservative commentator Candace Owens’ podcast, stunning people on both sides of America’s political divide by burying the hatchet.
