This is a recording of an event that took place on Zoom in December 2020.

“God believes in us even if we don’t always believe in ourselves. Remember this, and you will find the path from darkness to light.”

Rabbi Sacks zt”l has been associated with Jews College/LSJS for over forty years. He gained semicha here in 1978, gained a lectureship here in 1982, and was Principal from 1984 to 1990, at which point he was elected Chief Rabbi. Ever since, he has served as President of the college and never ceased to encourage and supported all involved.

He taught regularly here and his annual Ellul lecture became a highlight in the communal calendar. In this very special event, you will hear about Rabbi Sacks’s new book, Judaism’s Life-Changing Ideas, from a huge cast of his students as they reflect on what he taught them that they have never forgotten.
