Built in 1787, the Cossit House Museum is one of the oldest surviving homes on Cape Breton Island. Once the residence of Reverend Ranna Cossit, this beautifully preserved Georgian house offers a glimpse into 18th-century life. According to staff and visitors, it’s also a place where history refuses to stay in the past.
In this episode of Haunted Canada, host Nadine Bailey is joined by Michaela Ryan, social media coordinator for the Old Sydney Society, to explore this remarkable landmark that has earned a reputation as one of Nova Scotia's most quietly haunted homes.
