Built in 1819 to house the commander of the Royal Navy's North American fleet, Admiralty House in Halifax, Nova Scotia has sheltered admirals, survived the largest pre-nuclear explosion in history, and according to its curator  never lets its dead go.

In this episode of Haunted Canada, Jennifer Gamble, curator of the Naval Museum of Halifax, takes us inside one of Halifax’s most  haunted historic buildings, sharing the real, documented stories behind twelve spirits who remain by choice,  including a servant who died on the staircase, four children who never made it past Christmas 1884, a young mother still watching over her infant son, and a ghost cat that has been spotted since the 1920s.
