👀Good Shepherd or YOUR Shepherd?

In John 10:11–21, Jesus declares, “I am the Good Shepherd.” But what does it really mean for Jesus to be your Shepherd?

To follow the Good Shepherd, we must confront three lies: I don’t need saving. I’m not worth knowing. I’m in charge of who’s going.

Jesus lays down His life because we desperately need a Savior. He knows us completely—even the broken, messy places we hope no one ever discovers. And He reminds us that salvation belongs to Him, not to us; He determines who belongs in His flock.

We can know the parts of Christianity without knowing Christ. We can settle for the prosthetic of religion instead of a living relationship with Jesus.

The Good Shepherd didn’t simply come to be admired, studied, or preached about.

He came to save His sheep, know His sheep, and lead His sheep.
