When she was eight years old Alvin Schwartz scared London senseless. It was love at first fright. Despite a lingering fear of scarecrows (and the dark), London pursued her infatuation with creeps and creatures all the way to a PhD in gothic literature, and takes great joy in performing increasingly gory burlesque acts.
