Paul Macauley sits in the Fist or Clam hot seat and delivers post-apocalyptic food for thought, while discussing the practicality and merits of a survivor society structured around arcade games. Then we get stuck into what it takes to be creative. Importantly, not in the grand and nebulous sense, but in the practical and real sense. We talk about what it takes to be creative on an everyday basis and chew on the all important "WHY?" too.
This was the first episode I've edited since our long hiatus, since COVID hit and I was required to relocate from Germany, back to the UK and re-listening to Paul's wise words really helped me personally, get out of my own creative slump. Whether you like to write stories or code I think you'll be able to take a lot from this conversation.
