The intrinsic and extrinsic stain is caused by the chromogens (pigment). Hydrogen peroxide works by breaking apart the stain by way of "free radicals." Basically, you are not removing the stain but making the staining parts smaller, and your eyes cannot see them as well. But what is the difference between hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide?
