Founded in Paris in 2012, the band L'impératrice mixes pop and disco to create their own unique sound. Following the success of their first EPs, the band went on to tour around the world and received the Deezer Adami Fans' award in 2016. Their second album "Tako Tsubo" is out now so be sure to check it out!
In this episode, founder and keyboard player Charles de Boisseguin and singer Flore Benguigui sit down to discuss how their manager once had to step in as the drummer during a tour of India, how Flore happened to join the band and the (re)making of their second album over Zoom.
