In this episode we meet Sophie Painter and she shares her story where she goes from just a love of Ibiza and wanting to live here one day, to making it happen and becoming a super club podium dancer. She tells us of her determination to make her dream a reality, which she did, gracing the podiums of Pacha and Amnesia, among others. Standing up for herself and fighting for fair working conditions.
Then eventually making the switch into the club event production, artist liaison world and working with some of the top DJ's and promoters in the house circuit here in Ibiza. Putting on some of the most popular club nights in history.
Becoming a Mum and then finding a way to stay here on the island through starting her own company Paintpots Childcare, enabling her to live here full time. Giving her the opportunity to care for her own child as well as others on the island. She now has a team of over 40 trained, fully qualified and police checked staff, mostly teachers that can cater for nannying, babysitting and even catering for children's parties here on the island. She also co hosts family friendly raves too!
Expecting her third child and being here many years, she loves giving back through her charity work, supporting the two children's homes here. A true gift to the island and a lovely lady to boot.
