We talk about how the process for this album differed from previous efforts, and how self-producing an album can be a double-edged sword. They share how the concept for the album came about, what it was like assembling the gear necessary to self-produce the album, and the nuance required to dial in their approach to tracking guitars in such a precise genre. We talk about how the band identified creative formulas that worked for them, the technical skills they picked up during the process of making this album, and how they pulled in some talented friends along the way.
