Wild Card Issue 1 Summary:

Harry takes on a new case with two women dying under mysterious conditions. Because the murders look suspiciously like a White Court Vampire attack, Harry enlists his brother Thomas to make inquiries with Lara. Before they can get to her, they are attacked by a giant supernatural Owl.

Wild Card Issue 2 Summary:

Thomas and Harry are able to dispatch the attacking Owl and make it to Lara’s. Harry and Lara spar while discussing the recent deaths of the two women, and Lara's family members. Lara is convinced Johnny Marcone is responsible and is declaring war but Harry disagrees. They make an agreement that if he finds out who murdered Lara’s kin, she will help him with his investigation.
