Get ready for your fill in this monumental and meaty episode of Live, Laugh, Larceny! We’ve got Mount Rushmore, weird lost-and-found items, Halloween candy, and a Florida man stealing steaks for love.
This week, Trevin discovers a new Halloween candy that may finally dethrone candy corn: Nerds Corn. Amanda is missing her parents while they take the trip of a lifetime through the Grand Tetons, Mount Rushmore, and the American West.
For Top 5, Amanda explores Mount Rushmore facts, including the original plans for the monument, the president whose head was supposed to move, and the mysterious Hall of Records hidden inside Abraham Lincoln’s head.
Trevin digs into Uber’s list of the 50 strangest lost-and-found items left in Uber vehicles, featuring everything from trees and rhinestone Jesus artwork to prosthetic eyes. Apparently, some people leave considerably more behind than a phone.
For Storytime, Amanda heads to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, where Nebraska mother Alexandria Incontro makes headlines after climbing the national monument barefoot during a family road trip.
Then Trevin takes us to Florida, where Heannys O. Alvarez Reyna allegedly steals sirloin, tenderloin, and other expensive cuts of meat from Publix. His motivation? Impressing the woman he was cooking for. Nothing says romance quite like allegedly turning a grocery store into your personal butcher shop.
Two stories, one American monument, and enough beef to feed a national park. Come get petty with Live, Laugh, Larceny!
