It's 1993 and the end of summer has arrived for Jane and her friends, who decide to record their final night of freedom — before their souls are inevitably crushed bit by bit on Monday by the catholic school system. Lydia, in the present day, has found a shoebox filled with cassette tapes upon exploring the attic of her new house, and is immediately drawn to these girls, forever lost in time. The Cassette Diaries is written, produced, and scored by Isabella Pantoja. The director is Nickolas Menescal. Jane is Raquel Romero, Ada is Sophie Chmiel, Sarah is Laura Majid and Mary is Jen Skov.
